· Program is focused for National integration and solidarity building in the current situation.
· It is being organized on the occasion of 50 years of Nepal-German diplomatic relations.
· It is DAAD Funded program
· Nepal German Academic Association (NEGAAS), a forum of scholars educated in Germany dedicated to promoting bilateral academic relation and Social Science Research Foundation (SOSREF), a non-profit distrivution trust dedicated for developing research culture in Nepal are the program organizers.
The primary objective of the program are
- To enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in inter-group conflict transformation helpful for national integration.
- To motivate Nepali scholars for working in conflict transformation advocating Nationalism, Patriotism, and Federalism
About the resource person
Prof. Dr. Ulrich Wagner is a celebrated German Researcher on Social Identity and Inter-Group Conflict, Prof. Dr. Ulrich Wagner, who heads the Department of Psychology at Philipps University, Marburg. He is Director of the Centre for Conflict Studies and Speaker of the PhD Graduate Schools. His research interests and areas of specialization are inter-group relations and inter-group aggression.
Opening and Closing
Right Honorable Subash Nembang, Constituent Assembly Chair will deliver his remarks as the chief guest in the opening session and Dr. Kamal K. Joshi, UGC Chair will be the chief guest in the closing session.
